Eco Struggle is a quick digital board game for two local players where Nature attempts to resist the relentless expansion of The City. Players must strategically use their 12 tiles to defeat their opponent in a battle of wits!

This game was developed in 48 hours with two friends during Global Game Jam 2022. Our goal was to create a simple, turn-based board game for two people to play on the same screen. We aimed for a quick five-minute game that still offered interesting strategic choices. The game is available to play online on Itch.io.

Later, I recreated the game on a physical board. I crafted and painted all the necessary tiles and the main board using cardboard, wood, and small LEGO pieces. I opted for a more minimalistic and abstract style compared to the video game, as it felt more fitting. You can see the results in the images below.
