The Way of Life is a game that explores various life experiences from the perspectives of three characters of different ages: an adult, an old man, and a child. Each character moves, thinks, and perceives reality differently.

The first prototype was developed in 48 hours during Global Game Jam 2014 and was praised for its innovative take on the theme. Under the name CyberCoconut, we expanded and polished the game, resulting in the release of The Way of Life Free Edition on Steam, featuring three experiences and nine levels. It was soon played over 500,000 times, inspiring us to further develop the game. In March 2018, we released The Way of Life Definitive Edition, increasing the number of levels to 30 and implementing numerous quality of life updates and enhancements.

I have been involved with The Way of Life since its inception; it was my first professional project. As the main artist, I was responsible for art direction and nearly all the visuals in the game, from concepts to 3D models, from environment design to post-production. This project was a significant learning experience for me and holds a special place in my heart as the game that launched my career.
